Wow, all too much fun..

So here I am, morning back from my 5-day trip to Utah, and I feel like I've just been sucked back into reality. Utah was fun, beyond my imagination, and I know that this week was not the last time I'll go there. The first day started off kind of slow.. I had to leave my house at 9 AM to get to Reagan National in Washington. From there I flew out to Milwaukee on Midwest Airlines. The reason that the airline is relevant is because that flight had to be the most comfortable flight I've ever had. Leather seats that were extra wide along with baked-on-board cookies.. good stuff. But it got bad after that.. I landed in Milwaukee and had to wait in that airport for 3-4 hours, as my flight was delayed 2 hours. I finally get on the plane and head for Las Vegas (two hours outside of my destination, St. George). I get there and I see my friend's mom along with two other old friends, and I realize that my dream is beginning. So to summarize the rest of the trip.. saw just about all of my old friends, some of them have changed drastically in the last three years while others are still the same. I spent two mornings playing tennis with my friends (crushing them, of course) and played various other sports, like basketball and golf. Speaking of golf, I am a terrible golfer. It had been a long time since I'd done it, but I couldn't even get the ball off the ground a lot of times.. I had a lot of dribblers. One guy changed a lot; he was the loud, obnoxious jock when I left.. now, he was still a jock (the best basketball player in the school), but he was real nice and cool and very calm. I was especially surprised when he bought me and two others lunch that day. One of my standout points in being there is that I've overtaken just about everyone at playing the guitar.. when I was there three years ago, I was nothing. But it was fun jammin and singing songs makin fun of people.. its the way to go. I also refrained from cussing that whole trip, which I'm damn proud of. They are a very gentle culture, those Utah mormons.. they like to speak in kind tongues. A lot of nights were spent just hanging out with the kids.. again, the best part was getting to see all of them again after three years, reminiscing on the good times and catching up. So I'm back to reality now, but its nice to be home, and I hope to see ya'll soon.

P.S. Coldplay, while soothing most times, can also be really depressing.

It's good sad music, that's for sure.
